Wendy Granberg, AMFT, APCC
ph. 707-390-0315
Wendy Granberg utilizes an integrative approach to therapy with each individual client. She combines a relational, client-centered, and strengths based framework with somatic mindfulness and parts work. She utilizes Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with clients to work through trauma and implement behavior changes and shifts in consciousness. Wendy helps clients integrate their KAP experiences to create meaningful awareness and conscious transformation. Wendy holds a compassionate, LGBTQIA+ inclusive healing container, in which clients have the opportunity to look within themselves to discover and to understand the patterns in their lives. She offers her directive guidance as an emotional archeologist, leading clients on a journey of self-discovery, self-love, and self-acceptance. Wendy works to de-pathologize the patterns of behaviors and thoughts one experiences as she understands that clients are attempting to self-regulate to feel better. She educates her client's regarding self-regulation and teaches clients more constructive ways to regulate, while working to help them reduce destructive attempts at regulation. She helps clients to understand how their past is influencing current narratives and experiences. Wendy encourages clients to view these patterns with self-compassion through a strengths-based lens. She works with what's alive in the therapeutic space now to help heal what has happened in the past.
Wendy graduated with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco, CA. While at CIIS, she pursued a dual licensure track meeting requirements for both the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) licenses.
