Nicole is passionate about reuniting clients with their intuition, self-healing capacities, and zest for life. Her highest intention is to create a compassionate space that allows all parts of the self to be welcome, seen, heard and understood. Nicole trusts a client’s inner-knowing above all else, and her therapy is guided by what is most alive for clients in the present moment. Her work helps clients to develop a trusting, loving relationship with themselves so that they can feel more resourced, grounded and empowered in their lives.

Nicole has experience working with adults, adolescents, children, and families. In her work with children she primarily uses techniques from Gestalt Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy. Nicole’s therapy with children is child-centered and strengths-based. With adults, Nicole specializes in helping people who struggle with anxiety, depression, overwhelm, parenting, chronic illness, post-traumatic stress, and body-image distress.

Nicole received her Masters degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies. Nicole also is informed by her education and experience in the fields of life coaching and natural health sciences. Her approach to mental health is holistic and contextual, knowing that all of her client’s identities and experiences are important to consider on the road to greater wellbeing. She is deeply informed by social justice principles and her work is held in a liberation psychology framework that is inclusive and non-judgemental.
