Lisa Rix, LCSW
Clinical Supervisor
ph. 707-572-5495
Lisa’s practice focuses on trauma, depression, mood disorders and anxiety. She creates a safe environment working with LGBTQIA+ people, and other individuals to move forward when stuck in life by using evidenced based interventions such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Theory), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and client centered strength based models.
Lisa graduated in 2016 with her Master’s in Social Work from Humboldt State University. Her social work background has led her to believe in holistic therapy connecting all pieces of life to assist with transformation. A life long learner, she is expanding her practice to eventually hold space for psych testing by pursuing her doctorate as a psychologist. She is also working closely with Center for New Growth to provide support for KAP (ketamine-assisted psychotherapy).
